“The quest for 205lbs
in 2005”

We have all asked ourselves the same question time
and time again. How do we put on quality, drug free muscle mass in the shortest
time possible without gaining a lot of fat? Just one look through any magazine,
website, journal etc and you have a simple answer, NO ONE REALLY KNOWS! Add to
the quandary that we are all different and you make the answer even more complex.
I am no different than any other aspiring natural body builder. I want size and mass, I want it fast, I want it without the use of drugs, and I want
to keep my body fat levels minimal. My only distinction is that I refuse to give
in to the limiting mindset that I do not have the genetics to put on large quantities of mass.
There is no such thing as genetics; I just need to discover the right strategy.
Competition History
I have proven that I can get super ripped;
super shredded and look really muscular. One look at these pictures from my first
three shows and anyone can attest to that. My coaches are the best in the world
at drug free bodybuilding and I have learned well. I earned the overall win for
the ABA/INBA 2003 Northern Nevada Natural in the novice division. In 2004, I
won the middle class in the open division for the ABA/INBA Western USA Natural, and one month later, I placed third in the
middle class, unlimited division for the M.C.R.D Muscle Madness. My conditioning
and shredded physique is what got me these accomplishments even though I was competing against body builders who outweighed
me by as much as 50lbs. However, just like us all, I want it all!! I want the shredded look, AND the size.
Looking to 2005’
I have done quite well competing and I am elated with what
I have accomplished, but satisfied, no way. I know I am capable of much, much
more. So now my goal is to weigh a solid 205# and I will not even think about
competing again until I reach that goal. I don’t care if it takes 6 months
or six years, I will compete again when the scale reads 205lbs. I currently weigh
about 170lbs and I have set an ambitious deadline of December 31st 2005. I have created my plan using all of the best tools available to me. I have meticulously created my workout, my nutrition, my supplementation, my journal, and my checkpoints. Now it is time to get to work, execute my plan each and every day, make adjustments
along the way if necessary, and take advantage of every moment of every day.
So follow along and enjoy the ride. In addition to this quest, I will be running a very successful small business, working my “real job”
and balancing that with my home life as a husband and father of a beautiful 2-year-old boy.
I hope you learn as much as I from this quest I am undertaking. I refuse
to give in to limiting mind games like “I don’t have the genetics,” or “I am just not meant to be
huge and ripped.” It will happen, just give me time. I will attain my goal, and we will all learn from the experience.
